Dear Ms Soandso,

Re: Application for an Internship in the Marketing Department

What inspires me about Mercedes-Benz is your vision of becoming the most innovative mobility company. I am currently studying business with a marketing focus in Berlin, Germany and my mission is to contribute my theoretical knowledge during a 12-month internship in support of this goal.

During my internship in an online marketing agency, I discovered my passion for great concepts and successful marketing campaigns. Besides concept development, I assisted in customer presentations. I have always received very good feedback for my convincing and professional appearance and my eye for detail in PowerPoint presentations. During my studies, I developed different on- and offline marketing campaigns for a client in the automotive industry and to put them into practice in project groups. Furthermore, I learned to measure and analyze the success of these campaigns. I am very hungry to learn from the best and look forward to building foundation for a strong career in this industry.

I am convinced that I can make an important contribution to Mercedes-Benz with creative ideas, passion and expertise. As a valuable member of the team, my goal is to inspire even more people with enthusiasm for the Mercedes-Benz brand and thereby drive forward the company's success. I am available from 1st August 2020.

Do you have time for a quick phone call next week? I would love to discuss this further.

Sincerely,

Tim Mustermann
